Our in-house laboratory serves our own patients and is open to the public — with quick, accurate reports.
At no cost to families facing financial hardshipHow it began
Our inpatients often needed lab tests, and every trip to an outside laboratory meant delays for patients who were already frail. So we set up our own laboratory at the centre, to get tests done as soon as they are needed — for the patients in our wards and our hospice.
From the start, the lab has also been open to the public.
The laboratory was inaugurated by Dr. Antony Valumkal, Auxiliary Bishop of Varapuzha. Its equipment was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Cochin International.
